Wild Backyard Flower Co is located just outside the village of Elsdon in one of the most scenic and rugged valleys in the Northumberland National Park. We moved here from London in 2023 after falling in love with the landscape and set about establishing our own little rewilding project on 7 acres of grazing land. Since then, we have planted woodlands and hedges, rejuvenated the old apple orchard, started a hay meadow, and set up an organic kitchen garden where there once was a rhododendron plantation.

The flower field lies at the heart of it all. Here we grow high quality cut flowers for florists, brides and flower lovers (that’s you!) on 1/3 of an acre, surrounded by trees and serenaded by birdsong. Our flowers are beautiful, often scented, and a little bit on the wild side, just like the landscape and the Northumbrian seasons. We also grow and forage lush foliage for larger installations right here on the farm.

Our offerings are entirely seasonal and what’s available changes week to week. We specialise in British flowers for florists and DIY flowers for weddings and from June to September we offer flower subscriptions and gift bouquets for local or nationwide delivery.
